A nice "short but sweet" get-away

We went to the cabin a couple weekends ago, it was so nice to get away and have a break. The leaves were starting to change color and it was really fun to hike around and see the beautiful things nature has to offer. I am already getting "cabin" fever to go back up again before it gets too cold.

Grandpa Gillis took the grandkids out on the back porch to shoot the gun. Logan and Caleb hit one of the cans hanging on the tree; they were pretty excited about that.

The noise was a bit loud, so both Logan and Caleb had their hands over their ears when it wasn't their turn to shoot.

This is my Grandma and Grandpa Cazier's cabin; my grandma passed away 5 years ago and my Grandpa passed away last year. I miss them both a great deal, but when I come to this cabin it brings me comfort, remembering all the memories I had here with them growing up. I love you Grandma and Grandpa!

Cute pictures, T! It's great that you have a place to get away and the senimental value it has is wonderful. I'll post the photos of our FHE soon. Sorry, I haven't been able to sit long enough to get it up.

Tan, the pics are so cute, I wish dad would have sent some to me. It is really difficult for me to update my pics, because I don't have access to them since my computer is down, but the ones dad sent you of the cabin are so cute! And eventually I'll catch up to you! Hee Hee! Your blog is darling!!!
